This was the second movie of Sunny McKay's I had ever seen and with a stunning
full-body photo of her with one leg up on a recliner, wearing black heels, a
gold jacket and giving a rather innocent look with almost-fierce eyes that is
lit up with her golden curls hanging down her round face, how could I possibly
pass up the chance to rent it?  (I was working in a video store at the time
anyhow, so no money was wasted).  :-)

I was disappointed.  :-(  The quality wasn't all that great and the color was
dull, almost faded.  The performances could have been a whole lot better, too.
Resources were wasted completely (that's if you want wild action, for couples
appeal this may suffice but just barely).

The story of this not-quite-up-to-Henri-Pachard's-usual-efforts revolves around
a golden shawl (that's shawl, not shower [grin]) that has been passed on from
decade to decade with a bit of a story connected to each event.  We watch as
the years pass by (from 1944 to the present time) and in the end, the worn out
shawl has served its purpose.

The movie opens up on a bedroom (Jon's?  But it's the same bedroom used in the
final scene, which is Sunny's) and we see the two of them, playing characters
by the names of Donna and Roger, mostly undressed (Jon in underwear and Sunny
wearing a pink-colored nightie, or is it orange - can't tell exactly with such
bad coloring).  Donna calls Roger a slob, they kiss and she begins to suck him
off.  It's rather slow, with mild head and shaft tonguing.  Suddenly, she has
a condom on hand and secretly puts it on Roger, who notices it soonafter and
gets pissed off.  He tells her it's an insult to fuck his girl with a condom
and she tells him that she's not his girl or else they would have discussed
marriage (??).  Almost as if being a master, Roger demands that she take the
'fucking thing' off of him and with that, Donna says (with her cute Australian
voice), "Nice knowing you stranger" and heads out.

The next day (or a few hours later?).  Donna is jogging through a park when 
Roger approaches her (from hiding behind a tree) and she pushes him away,
telling him they're through.  She says he won't give her what she wants, so
she'll just have to find it someplace else.  Later on the phone, Donna is
speaking to her friend Judy (we don't see or hear anything at all of her) and
she starts to talk about her frustrations over Roger and the two years of her
life she wasted on him.  The subject changes to some 40's party they will be
going to and Donna tells Judy she bought a shawl from some thrift shop (the
40's party being some kind of costumed event) and she admires it, thinking
about the simple life the first girl who owned it must have had.

Cut to 1944.  Gracie and Frankie (Sunny and Randy West respectively) are in
their bedroom, preparing for sleep.  Frankie tells her his life flashed before
his eyes out at World War II and he thought he'd never see her again.  She
undresses (and yes, she was wearing the shawl) then sits down on the bed where
Frankie goes on about the images he had of her when his life was at risk; they
were making passionate love.  They being to make love themselves, but it's
nothing more than dull except for the climax when Gracie cowgirls Frankie 
before he cums.  The long blowjob at the beginning is nothing more than FF
material, as well as their missionary poke where the bed was the only thing
making any noise.  Gracie jerks Frankie off and they kiss.

Present time.  Donna is jogging in the same park again when Roger pops out
from behind the tree to talk to her.  He asks her if she would accompany him
to the 40's party but she tells him it's over between them.  Later on the
phone with Judy, Donna goes back into her wishful thinking over the past lives
of the women who've owned the shawl.

Cut to 1954.  Sally and Chip (Michelle Monroe and Randy Spears) are necking on
Sally's couch while her parents are out.  They look like the typical 50's teen
couple; Chip's wearing a white t-shirt and jeans and has his hair slicked 
back and Sally's wearing a plaid skirt, white blouse and has her hair up in a
ponytail.  They look like just came back from the malt shop, having shared a
milkshake and maybe dancing to some jukebox tunes.  They caress eachother while
kissing very softly.  They are also chewing bubble gum, blowing small bubbles
from time to time.  Sally has the shawl on and when Chip tells her how pretty
it is, she tells him it was her cousin Gracie's shawl; the one she lost her
virginity in.  Speaking of which, Chip asks her if she's just about ready to
lose hers but she refuses, only wanting to after they're married.  Randy's
portrayal of Chip comes off as a more smooth-talking, persuasive, kind of
conning personality of the Fonze from 'Happy Days' but without the voice and
macho arrogance.  He slowly gets her to take off her skirt and blouse and
eventually give him head.  Sally still seems a bit hesitant through it all,
and even more so when he begs her if he can 'only stick the head in'.  She
gives in and he slowly penetrates his cockhead inside of her, missionary
style.  He picks up the pace and eventually fucks her.  She squeals, "No!
We're not supposed to be doing this!" but he tells her he's got everything
under control, so she shouldn't worry.  Her biggest worry is getting pregnant
which she faces the possibility of when he cums inside of her (a fake orgasm
from Spears, most probably, but it looked real).  Sally's parents come home,
knocking on the door, and Chip splits.

After another bout of Roger hasseling Donna at the park, we cut to the next
event in the life of the shawl which is 1964.  Sally (this time played by
trashy-looking Suzi Bartlett) and Pam (Iesha) are sitting on Pam's bed
discussing things like drugs and lesbianism.  The two girls almost look like
hippies (Iesha more so than Suzi) and their attitudes seem flake-ish like
they're stoned or something (I say bad acting).  Sally passes the shawl onto
Pam and tells her to keep it because she's a love child, she's special.  Once
Pam wears it, the two girls move in closer and being to kiss.  A very boring
girl/girl scene develops, each girl sucking the other off then doing a 69.
Pam's boyfriend Shadow (Sean Michaels, wearing an afro-wig) enters and goes
on about the bad day he had.  To relieve his tension, he joins in on their
little get-together and after the girls suck him off, Pam fucks him RC-style
then he fucks Sally doggie style.  No real heat is developed at all.  
Everything's just basic, if not flaccid.  A weak cumshot on Sally's asscheek
ends the scene.

Another phone conversation with Judy gets Donna to thinking about the 70's
and this time, 1974, we find Frankie Jr. (Randy West), Chip Jr. (Randy Spears) 
and Pam sitting around in a living room.  I'm still a little confused, but
Frankie Jr. is the son of the couple from 1944 and Chip Jr. is the son of..
well, it isn't Sally's son because Pam acts like it's the first time she's
ever met him.  Anyhow, some of you watching this movie may not even reach this
point.  They start talking about making a list of all the people they've ever
fucked but the guys decide their lists would be too long.  Pam's list grows two
notches longer when they decide to fuck right there, but wait a minute.  Where
does the shawl come into this event?  A-ha, Frankie Jr. notices it and makes a
compliment to Pam and even recalls that his mom had something just like it
when his dad went off to war.  Pam decides to give the shawl to him to give to
his mother, which might bring back some memories.  Ok, now they fuck.  
Probably the liveliest of all the scenes, they smile and laugh and seem to have
a good time.  There is no anal or dp involved here.  Iesha's pretty and the
three of them work well together.  Cumshots on her pussy and left tit end the
scene.

Back to the park, Roger, in a desperate state, tells Donna that he'll marry her.
She's disgusted and tells him she wants someone who'll marry her for her; not
because they feel forced or dragged into it.  He begs her to give him one more
chance.. and she does.  This final scene takes place in the present time, of
course, but it is the 90's.  (Even Donna mentions earlier in one of the park
clips that it's the 90's, so obviously nothing much happened to the shawl during
the 80's).  Donna looks pretty, with the shawl around her shoulders, and Jon
looks like a helpless chap who's finally coming to terms with himself.  They
make love, first by giving head to eachother.  In their cowgirl position, you
can tell Sunny tries to match her wild-stallion routine that brought the only
spark to her scene with Randy West earlier, but it doesn't work well.  They
suddenly switch to doggie, then missionary before Jon cums all over her chest
which, had he given her a facial, might've turned out to be one of the 
monster-type variety.  His fingers dripping with cum, Roger suddenly has the
shawl with him, as if he wiped his hands with it and tells Donna that he's
sorry about it, he just got carried away.  She forgives him and says that the
shawl has served its purpose.  End of movie.

What does this movie have going for it?  Well, all the women have natural
breasts and the stunning box cover makes your decision to rent it tempting.
What does this movie fail to provide?  Heat.  Most of the material in this
movie will work much better with your remote control.  Such a shame, though,
since 3 or the 4 women were cute-as-a-button, but they were put to complete
waste.  There's tons of Sunny McKay, but instead of shining bright she barely
fizzled.  Director Henri Pachard was probably rushing through it but 
considering many of his other, better works, he can be forgiven this once: but
why did he have to do it with this movie when, if the script had been stronger
and the quality better, it could have launched Sunny's career sky high?  When
you've got promise on your hands, Henri, work with it and develop its full
potential.  When you slip up, that only results in a complete waste of time,
many disappointed fans and viewers, and an Imperial rating of 0.50.
