* I don't know if it was just my copy of the movie, but the sound was quite
low. Even after I turned the volume up high (for dialogue scenes especially)
I still couldn't hear some of the words they were saying. This is the only
VCA release I had some audio problems with, I just found it odd.

THE THERAPIST
director: Michael Craig, 1992 VCA

rating: 2.75

- Ona Zee, Mike Horner
- Sunny McKay (masturbation)
- Sunny McKay, Nick East
- Sharon Kane, Mike Horner
- Melanie Moore (anal), T.T. Boy
- Sunny McKay, Jessie Eastern

Sunny plays Carolyn, a very sexually pent-up woman in search of letting
loose. She says she's sick and tired of being Little Miss Goody Two Shoes
and that she'd rather be nasty. In her therapist's office, he asks her if
she knows what nasty is and she replies, "Nasty would be unbuttoning my
blouse in front of my therapist and playing with myself". He tells her to
go ahead with it and she does. We never see the therapist (I'm guessing it
may be Michael Craig who's speaking the part) but considering his instructions
onto Carolyn, I'm not surprised he doesn't want to be seen. :-) I'd say the
only person to blame for this characterization is writer Leslie Black, but I'm
not forgetting that this is a porno movie after all. Anyhow, Carolyn goes on
about this man she likes, John (Mike Horner), and his sexual escapades. We
are cut to an outdoor romp with John and a woman (Ona Zee).

They're sitting in the back of a van/truck with the backdoor wide
open (no, not Ona's :-). Mike begins to lick her pussy like crazy.
Ona still has on a red bra and panty, but they eventually come off.
Then she gives him a blowjob. An interesting camera angle (looks
like we are below looking up) captures it quite well. They fuck
doggie style next and continue in this position until Ona gets up
and squats down to catch his load all over her tits. I'm not a big
fan of Ona Zee, but this scene was good enough to start things off
   right.

After their session, the therapist lets Carolyn go and tells her that she's
a beautiful and desirable woman who's very insecure about herself. She goes
home, takes a good look in the mirror and ends up masturbating.

Sunny starts off slow by taking off her robe. She eyes herself
up and down and poses provocatively. After removing her bra (but
still keeping her panty on), she makes her way over to a dildo,
which she begins to lick and suck on. She positions herself with
one knee up on a step, showing off her beautifully slim body, then
takes off her panty and proceeds by dildo-fucking herself. She
seems to get off really well with her toy and rubs her clit fast
   until she reaches orgasm.

The next day, Carolyn tells her therapist about a fantasy she has where she
applies for work and the aggressive boss named Jim (Nick East) has her
undress then fucks her on his desk.

Nick takes out a pair of scissors and cuts Sunny's bra off. Her
initial reaction was one of surprise, but then at one point the
bra slides out from the grasp of his fingers and she briefly
smiles at him. Afterwards, she bends over his desk as he fingers
and licks her pussy. She doesn't suck him off, he immediately
begins fucking her doggie style. Then they do a missionary poke
before he gives a weak cumshot on her pussy.

Carolyn opens up more about her real fantasy-man, John, and we watch him
fuck another woman (Sharon Kane).

Sharon has a very short haircut that suits her well. She and
Mike are kissing on a bed and commence a 69 with Mike on top.
When they fuck, they do it like wild animals. In the spoon,
cowgirl and missionary positions, Mike fucks Sharon hard. The
only thing that may annoy viewers (at least those who have seen
Horner many times before) are his grimacing facial expressions
(that sometimes make him look angry). Finally, Mike pulls out
and cums on her chest, then kisses her.

The therapist immediately sends Carolyn to Dan, a sex surrogate (played by
Jessie Eastern, who looks more like a cult leader of Satan worshippers). As
soon as she arrives at his place, he pulls her inside and starts kissing her
madly, telling her that being nasty is an attitude. He pulls her hair a bit
and it looks like he wants to jump her right there, but instead he leads her
outside where two people (Melanie Moore, T.T. Boy) are having sex. Jessie
says she shouldn't be afraid, that they're there for her education. While
Mel and T.T. go at it, Dan stands right up behind Carolyn and unbuttons her
blouse, fondling her breasts.

Melanie starts sucking on T.T. Then she lays down on her back
as he fucks her. Minutes later, she raises a leg up in the air
and he fucks her ass (with a condom that T.T. just suddenly has
on). T.T.'s bearable to watch in this scene, he's not his usual
macho, power-fucking self and Melanie looks a little tired, but
still has the energy to fuck. They end the scene with a weak
cumshot on her belly (one shot landing on her forehead).

Dan brings Carolyn back inside and they fuck on his couch. He tells her
a few things beforehand, but I really couldn't hear it well.

Jessie slides her panty off and sucks her pussy. Then he gets
up to unbutton his shirt and Sunny eagerly sucks him off. They
fuck mish and doggie (in some close up shots it looks like he
has a little trouble penetrating her), then back to a quick mish
before he cums in her mouth, which she spits out mostly but looks
happy enough just slurping on his limp dick. A few more words
are exchanged (totally inaudible to me) and they kiss.

The next day, Carolyn enters her therapist's office and tells him she's
relieved of all her insecurities. When asked about her feelings for John
she says, "Screw John. All that matters is what I think about myself... and
what YOU think". She feels liberated and nasty - enough to undress and seduce
him right there. We hear him say, "I don't know if this is such a good idea"
(oh, but telling her to unbutton her blouse and play with herself in front of
him is?). Fully undressed, she says, "Why? Are you afraid to get nasty?"
and makes her way over to him (i.e. offscreen).

An overall average outing with a simple storyline, I'd recommend this movie
to couples. Like I said, I had audio problems but everything else was good.
The performers do well and all the women are natural breasted (and there
aren't any usually obligatory girl/girl scenes). If you've been feeling
sexually pent-up lately, "The Therapist" might have the cure you need.
