This is going to be a long review since this movie has a lot of scenes. 
I know it was reviewed earlier but only for the g/g scenes.  Here�s a
full review.  

The movie is set in the Prohibition era at The Palace, a
speakeasy/casino run by Nici and St. Croix. They are assisted by Crystal
Gold, who apparently is a quasi girlfriend of St. Croix.  Melissa Hill
(is she related to Nici Sterling?  Looks like she could be her sister
but I didn�t hear any trace of a British accent.  Any clarification
would be appreciated-thanks) and Morgan are undercover vice cops sent to
try and bust The Palace.  Alex Sanders plays Sam the bartender. 
Stephanie Knight plays the "new girl" since the joint has a house
upstairs.  We also learn that the casino has an interesting twist on
winning.  If you get a silver chip, you can take your pleasure with
anyone you like, male or female.  If you get the gold chip, however, you
can take Max (I�m not sure who that is) or Veronica i.e. Nici Sterling.
Talk about comps!!!  Gimme a line of credit at that place!!

600 - We learn right in the beginning that Nici�s husband, Peter North,
was her only true love and we immediately flash to a scene which she
narrates her love etc.  Seems like he died from an unknown reason. 
During the movie, we see this flashback from time to time.  Nici has
never found the right man so we go to Nici and Madelyn Knight in a
bathtub.  This scene has the usual eating, some dildo play and a
flashback to Peter North who Nici is dreaming of .  This scene was not
the hottest I�ve seen Nici do but it was very nicely done in the context
of the movie. Romantic music. 

1651 - We go to Gold and St. Croix who notices Gold is tight and wants
to help her relax.  So she relaxes by deep throating St. Croix.  (I�ve
never seen Crystal Gold before.  I gotta tell ya that chick can deep
throat a cock as well as anyone I�ve seen . Outstanding.) 
Unfortunately, she keeps her half slip on during the scene but she
really seems to enjoy what she�s doing and after St. Croix fucks her
face and gets deep throated some more, he cums on her tits.  Again, not
the hottest scene but nicely done.  Good close-ups and camera work.

2065 - We see Stephanie Swift talking to the bartender, Alex Sanders,
(I�m pretty sure it�s him anyway) who she thinks is dreamy.  In walks
Gold and they talk about what to do if a girl want to go to bed with
Swift. "Go to bed", says Gold.  They get after each other and Sanders
joins in.  More deep throat by Gold.  She shows her fucking ability as
well and the furniture starts banging around mish and doggie.  Stephanie
does an implied p2m but she can�t deep throat.  Both girls lick his cock
and then Steph gives a real hard RC ride. Finally a dual face shot and
they clean him up.  A very nice scene.  

We now see the casino filling up and meet Morgan and Melissa Hill who,
in their undercover assignment, are posing as husband and wife.  Hill is
kind of prudish and tells her partner i.e. Morgan, "Sex and nudity are
not part of the job description."   There is a scene which starts with
Swift and some other girl which is not completed�..too bad. 

Meanwhile, Morgan wins a big pot and St. Croix gives him a silver chip
to gamble at the roulette wheel.  If he loses, however, the chip goes to
his wife (Hill).  Naturally he loses the bet and Hill chooses a male. 
Out comes Alex Sanders (again, I think --- I�m not sure what he looks
like with a ponytail instead of the long free flowing hair.)  She is
reluctant but he finally seduces her and they go upstairs.

3320 - Sanders starts rubbing her tits & Hill loses her reluctance in a
hurry.  She gets into some ass eating.  She likes it & wants more.  She
does some nice deep throat. He fucks her face and then her in the
missionary position.  Hey Mikey!!!!!   She likes it!!!!  She gets a good
ride in mish & doggy with some yelling and moaning. Scene ends in a
facial, most of which ends up on her upper teeth.  Sweet. 

We are treated to a flashback of Nici/North and also learn that Melissa
has lost her "prudishness".  Meanwhile��..

Some chick (Sid Deuce??) wins a big poker hand, a silver chip and says
she wants Sam� "he knows what I like".  They run out to the back seat of
a coupe convertible.

3940 - They really get after it to some ragtime music.  No sound, just
the music.  There�s no warm up.  They just get to it!!!  Sort of
reminded me of two high school kids in the back seat   No pretense here,
just sex.  Ends in a facial, most of which goes in her mouth. A great
scene IMHO.   Good camera work, good music, great action.  The wife
politely declines my offer to go out to the garage.  

Back in the casino, Nici suspects that Hill and Morgan are not husband
and wife so she wants to watch them do it.  In the bedroom, Hill
suggests they give her something to watch. 

4250 - They go after it and Nici can�t stand it.  She takes off her top
and looks ready to join in as Hill gets a mish and doggy ride with lots
of noise.  Alas, Nici puts her clothes on and leaves.  A good, energetic
scene ends with a dribbly facial. Too bad�it should have been a monster.

Earlier, we learned that The Palace was expecting a shipment of Scotch. 
TT Boy delivers as St. Croix and Gold look at the shipment.  St.Croix
suggest a shot for all to celebrate the delivery and then says that
since he�s been working so hard, Gold should give him a reward.  He
thinks TT Boy should get one, too.  Some bluesy music starts.

4580 - TT Boy sucks Gold�s tits and Gold looks like she�s ready for
anything.  I really liked that look.  She displays more deep throat
talent on St. Croix. TT takes her doggy but without his usual
mysoginstic nastiness.  He�s still plenty aggressive though, as Gold
makes sure there are no blockages in her throat (this chick is really
good-----even the wife couldn�t believe it and she�s no slouch in that
department if I do say so myself).  Position switch with lots of moaning
and groaning by Gold as St. Croix does her in the mish position.  It
looked to me like St. Croix blew early as he runs off camera and TT Boy
finishes the job by fucking her mish and coming on her stomach.  St.
Croix returns and does the same.  It  seemed to me like they might have
been set for a double facial but it didn�t quite work that way.  She

Up we go to the casino where Felicia has won a silver coin.  We learn
that this time however Felicia wants a woman instead of a man.

Nici brings up two girls for Felicia  (I think they were Caressa Savage
and Christi Lake; one was blonde and one brunette).   They decide to
watch & not partake. Huh?

5000 - Felicia plays with herself for a VERY short time and in no time
at all we have a 3way g/g/g going with lots of energy and noise.  The
blonde takes a big dildo and then a HUGE dildo from Felicia with some
spanking and nasty talk. (Quote from my better half, "If I wanted
something that big in there, I�d have a kid!")  All kinds of hell breaks
loose in a hot scene.

We now go to the office where St. Croix is doing the books.  Melissa
Hill wants to see the books but St. Croix still suspects she�s a cop. 
She says her job is to seduce him then bust him but she�ll forget
everything if he can make her feel things she�s never felt before.

5375 - St. Croix takes her on the desk.  Nice close ups of her eyes
rolling back in her head.  Doggy and mish with lots of energy on both
sides.  She makes a lot of noise as she gets laid by St. Croix with some
real determination.  He finally cums on her pussy.  Too bad it wasn�t a
facial�.it would have been a natural.  

Jon Morgan finally wins a gold coin and takes Nici proving that he�s not
a complete idiot. 

5765 - Well Nici finally finds her replacement for her dead husband.  A
nice scene, fairly hot, usual positions with another fine finish for
Nici.  She gives him a fine ride in the CG position with some oral as
well. I may stop reviewing Nici Sterling scenes unless they are no damn
good.  She just flat puts out every time I see her.  We also see the end
of North as he cums on her and Morgan finishes as well.  A very good
scene IMHO.   End of Movie


Comments:  I liked this movie a lot.  The lighting and camera work were
good.  The music (I think an original score) was perfect. The sound was
good.  In a way, this was like watching a porn version of "The Sting".  
Ten scenes (eleven if you count the flashbacks).  The plot was credible
and there were no bad sex scenes in the movie if you don�t count the
unfinished scene with Swift.    I�m not sure what was going on there.  
In many ways, the sex fit the story.  One thing I kind of liked was
Stephanie Swift.  She looked lost until the action began.  She didn�t
look lost after that!!!  I also like Crystal Gold as my previous
comments reflect.  The more I see of St. Croix the more I like his
characters.  The guy has some acting talent and he always seems to have
a look on his face like he has the punch line to an inside joke. 
(Yeah�.I�m having sex with these babes and you�re not!!)

Over the weekend, I rented three film pics.  "Palace of Pleasure", "The
Conquest", and "Temple of Poon".  There is no question that Palace is
the best of the three IMHO.  Unlike Poon, all the action here was
energetic and solid.  Unlike Conquest, no one was trying to pretend they
were making a Grade B action flick.  Everything seemed natural and
credible.  My favorite scene was the back seat in the car with Sid (I
think) and Sanders (again I think�.sorry for not having positive IDs on
that).  If you don�t get flashbacks to your own youth (and you can be a
male or female) then you spent too much time studying bird calls. 

This is one of the few flicks I would buy.  It�s a great couples tape. 
It has energy, wall to wall action and an almost credible story line.  I
liked the music, too.   The acting, where needed, was good.  One other
thing: In reviewing my notes, I didn�t find a single anal scene.  I did
find lots of energy (am I repeating myself?)  On the IMP scale I give
this a 3.80.
