I posted 2 reviews on "blooper" type adult tapes; both pretty decent in showing some of what goes on behind the scenes. Blooper and behind-the-scenes vids have been inquired about recently so I decided to post the reviews. The best behind-the-scenes vid I've seen, though, is called "Lifeguard" and starred Jennifer Stewart. To say it was a documentary of making a porno is giving it too much credit, but it did feature candid interviews (not of the "when did you first have sex" "what's your favorite position?" variety) w/ Jennifer, Jon Dough, Randy Spears, and others.
I was going to review it in detail but somebody bought the tape where I rented it from about a yr. ago. Some of the highlights I remember were Jon discussing the boredom on the set (he reads books in the downtime), Jennifer discussing her preference for working w/ married guys, and Randy discussing his nicotine habit and what it's like dating a fellow pornstar, Danielle Rogers. There were complete sex scenes in the vid (Jennifer having sex w/ Jon and then Sean Michaels and some other scenes) but I wish they would've just stuck to the interviews and behind-the-scenes stuff. Thinking about it makes me miss Jennifer, too. Anyway, I looked it up at the DB (damn, I'm glad that's free! Thanks, Peter!) and got the following info. on it:
Released by Vivid (1990) directed by Paul Thomas (who also kind of semi-narrates) and runs 1 hr. 22 min. Also starred Devon Shire and KC Williams (both lezonly) and Heather Sinclair.
