Uh, sort of a strange movie. Paul Thomas directed. Stars Janine and others. Premise is that a husband is ignoring his wife (Janine) sexually and is having an affair. There are disjointed flashbacks (???) and fantasies (again, ?????) which chop the movie into uninterpretable segments. Perhaps Thomas was trying for the artsy, need-to-think-about-this type of movie with an adult theme, perhaps? The problem is that at the end, after the mediocre, bland sex, one wonders "what was that about?" Notable parts: Though Janine does _not_ do any gal-guy, though the movie is implied that she would (no the box says nothing about this, it is the opening scene setup that makes you wonder if . . . ). In the opening scene of the movie, Janine does a (IMO stupid) moaning, wiggling enticement scene while hubby gets dressed. In the last scene, after hubby and girlfriend come home, Janine starts kissing and moving against hubby. Camera goes in for a closeup (of shadows) and pulls out to reveal girlfriend - no Janine, she's gone. The other notable item is that Janine now has her tongue pierced. I would like to see a knowledgable review of this movie (Peter????). However, I can't really recommend it for rental - even as a couples movie.
