Sakura Tales 2 Cast: Sabrine Maui, Loni, Lyla Lei, Nyomi Marcela, Aliyah Likit, Jade Feng, Kimmy Kahn
Reviewed by Spooky Although Sakura Tales probably represents one of the better all-Asian series other than Hustler's popular Asian Fever volumes, I couldn't help but feel somewhat letdown by Sakura Tales 2. Perhaps there aren't as many attractive Asian performers in porn as I thought there were, but other than Sabrine Maui, most of the girls here are average to below average in both attractiveness and overall performance. The first scene features Aliyah Lickit and a guy whom I wasn't familiar with (all names are listed in the credits, but they never match up the male names with the performers) on a motel bed. Most of the scenes in this title begin with the girl remembering back to her sexual encounter and masturbating while thinking about it - and if you enjoy these masturbation segments you can see them again unedited in the bonus portion of the DVD. The actual encounter between Aliyah and her guy is a bit on the average side, although there is some nice anal action in the missionary position that includes Aliyah fingering her pussy while her behind is stuffed with cock. Things take a swing upward in scene two, bringing us Kimmy Khan, the second most attractive girl on this title (next to Sabrine). Kimmy looks especially hot since she is wearing a pair of crotchless fishnet pantyhose - which she keeps on throughout her performance with Jazz Duro. There's no anal in this scene, but the facial at the conclusion is particularly nice, and perhaps the best one of all the scenes on this DVD. It's the third and fourth scene on this disc that really sends Sakura Tales 2 into a downward spiral. Scene three brings us the older (and not very attractive) Jade Feng and the average-looking Loni. In this setup, Jade finds out that Loni has been screwing around with her man, so she does what any jilted lover would do...she takes Loni back to her place and plays with her herself! After the girls have had some fun, Jade's man comes home (once again, a performer I was not familiar with) and joins in on the fun. The problem with scene four isn't so much with the performers (both Pat Myne and Brett Rockman are dependable cocksmen, and Asian Lyla Lei isn't that bad looking), but with the set up. Lyla is just sitting on the side of the road, and Pat and Brett stop their truck and immediately start hitting on Lyla. Sure, this is porn, but at least make the encounter a little more realistic and interesting. There is some double penetration during the scene, which is worth watching, but for the most part the performers just seem to be going through the motions. Lyla gets a pair of facials a the conclusion, but Pat's is hardly worth mentioning...since it is hard to see at all (thanks to a less than healthy pop shot)! Cheyne Collins makes out on a couch with Nyomi Marcella (no relation to Jade Marcella as far as I know!) in the next to last coupling. This segment may seem a little better than average after watching the two scenes that come before it, but viewers will soon realize that this segment is only a so-so one. Cheyne and Nyomi do it reverse cowgirl, doggy and missionary style, and the scene ends with a facial. The movie concludes with perhaps the best scene on the DVD, as Sabrine Maui and Mark Ashley play a couple who have met over the internet and want to get it on with each other. I should probably note at this point in my review that I've never met anyone that looked as hot as Sabrine over the internet, but most of you reading this review probably are already aware of that. There's action here in the missionary, reverse cowgirl, 69 and doggy positions, concluding in a nice facial for Ms. Maui. The bonuses on this disc area about as average as the rest of the title, with the aforementioned solo scenes in unedited form, a pop shot recap, three trailers and a slide show. So, with two good scenes, two average scenes and two bad ones, Sakura Tales 2 averages out to be just another all-Asian DVD, no better or worse than most of the other ones on the market. I think one of the big mistakes here was in the selection of the girls, but a little more work could have gone into the "fantasies" involved in each scene, as well. The bottom line is that the enjoyment of this is going to depend on how attractive you find the women...so take a good look at the back of the box cover and if you like what you see, you'll probably find enough on this disc to enjoy Sakura Tales 2.
