Reviewed by Spooky Girlvert 2 is one of those DVDs that a reviewer like myself hates to have to comment on. Do I take the moral high ground and say that this kind of activity is a little too "edgy" and rough, even for the world of porn? Or do I admit that I really, really enjoyed the action? Well, I guess I've already shown my hand, and let me state that while couples and "newbies" to the adult world may want to steer clear...way clear...of Girlvert 2, raincoaters, perverts and basically guys like myself are going to want to pick up this title right away! Girlvert 2 is a unique piece of porn in that while the sex itself may not be much rougher that anything you've already seen in an Extreme, Red Light or Anabolic title, the situational set-up by the director and the actors is such that you think you're seeing a lot more manhandling (or in this case, womanhandling!) than is actually on the screen. And while I'm the kind of reviewer who is quick to object to directors like Thomas Zupko or actors like TT Boy when they have the girls in their scenes being slapped around and treated like pieces of meat, the original thing about Girlvert 2 is that Ashley Blue is actually the one who is doing all the name-calling and slapping of the female talent in this film...the male talent is actually quite passive, for the most part. It's an interesting approach by director Jim Powers, and I have to be honest - watching a female treat another female in a way that I would find objectionable were it between a male and a female actually turned out to be a huge-turn on rather than something I wanted to turn off. The title stars Ashley Blue as either the girlfriend we all dread getting stuck with, or the girlfriend we all pray is out there waiting for us...depending on how you like your women. She begins the movie by reading a note to her mother in which she basically relates her hatred to her (her character's mother...not her real-life one, I should probably note!). So she hops in a van with her boyfriend and then wind up picking up Julie Night and taking her back to her boyfriend's place. While Ashley is in the other room, her boyfriend tries to get a blowjob from Julie. Julie isn't going for it, and she goes into the bedroom to relate what happened to Ashley. As soon as Ashley finds out, she goes ballistic, pulling a strap-on from the drawer, putting it on and forcing Julie to suck it and admit what a slut she is! Eventually, the boyfriend comes in to join in on the action, and when he enters Julie's ass and starts fucking her doggy style on the bed, Ashley picks up the phone, calls Julie's mother and informs her that her daughter is being ass fucked and is loving every minute of it! Is that of questionable taste? Perhaps. Is it twistingly erotic? You bet! Ashley's character spends the rest of the movie doing the same to other women. In scene two, she hires a call girl (played by Jasmine Lynn) to come over so she can treat her like a slut. She has her fuck a guy and, once again, she dons a strap-on to join in on the fun. Once she is finished with Jasmine, Ashley goes over to two other guys in the room (one of them played by Mr. Pete) to have a threesome with them that includes anal, double penetration and a hot double facial at the conclusion of the scene. In the final scene, Ashley finds herself sitting across from a prissy model (Ashley Long) whom Ms. Blue just can't resist making suck Ben English's cock as well as a well-built guy who is also in the room. Once again, this scene puts Ashley in control of the action, so that any name calling or roughness that is being handed out comes from her rather than the two other guys in the scene. Following some anal and DP action, Ashley Blue holds Ashley Long's mouth and head as she is forced to take two facials at the end of this scene, and thus ends one of the hottest and potentially controversial adult DVDs I have seen in many moons. The picture is quite sharp on this DVD, although there are some minor pixelation problems that prevent me from giving the video a perfect score. The audio is only average, and if there's one area that future installments should improve on, I would say it's the audio...at times you have to crank up the volume to hear what is being said. Fortunately, with Ashley's tendency to yell at the women, this doesn't happen too often! As for bonus material, it's also average, with an 11-minute behind the scenes featurette that mostly consists of outtakes and bloopers; cast bios for the girls; a slide show; chapter and fetish selection; plus info on ordering directly from JM Productions. Girlvert 2 is clearly not for everyone, but if you're a fan of Ashley Blue (and even if you're not, you may be after checking this disc out!) and want to see a young girl getting rough and naughty with other young girls (in addition to getting their fair share of boy/girl action), then Girlvert 2 will be right up your alley. Call me a "sick pervert", but I thought this DVD was hot - damn hot!
