My Sex Kitten
Reviewed by Spooky Film: 4 �Features: 5 �Video: 5 �Audio: 5 4.75 out of 5.00 Stars Starring: Jenna Haze Bonus Features: �Interactive Menus, Slide Show, Behind the Scenes My Sex Kitten is Jill Kelly Productions first attempt at an interactive sex title on DVD, and while it is quite similar to those put out by other studios, My Sex Kitten has one thing going for it that none of the other interactive sex titles have had: Jenna Haze. Jenna is probably the hottest young performer in the adult business right now, and because she also happens to be one of my favorite starlets, My Sex Kitten ranks as one of my favorite interactive sex releases. That's not to say that this title doesn't have some of the same problems we have seen on releases from other companies - most notably the presence of "digitized" cumshots. All of the cumshots on the My Sex Kitten disc are fake, with the exception of the cumshot viewer's can watch in the doggy position, which seems to be a real one...and at the very least, isn't a digitized one. I understand that in most cases these videos are put together in one day of shooting, but why not take the extra time or even an extra day to make sure the guy your using can cum more than one time? Another problem that may annoy some viewers is that each portion of the sex selections are relatively short in length. Once again, this is a problem with many other interactive titles, but it is worth noting again here. While the "Tease", "Masturbate" and "Sex" areas of the DVD contain segments that run about a minute in length for each selection, the segments in the "Foreplay" section tend to run only about half as long. Since most viewers will be jumping around positions and angles, this may not be so noticeable the first couple times you watch the disc - but it certainly somewhat reduces the DVD's re-playability factor. But perhaps the biggest problem (and the only one big enough to make me deduct a full point from my final "film" rating) is the fact that you can't jump from one theme to another on this disc without going back to the main menu. So it's impossible to go from the "Foreplay" section directly into the "Sex" action without first returning to the main menu (or any other combination of the four major themes), which does take away from the whole point of an interactive title. But most of the problems I raise have been a problem with virtually (no pun intended!) every interactive sex DVD from a number of studios, so perhaps it's not fair to single out JKP for the same thing that everyone else seems to be doing. So enough of my minor quibbles...let's talk about why, overall, My Sex Kitten is one of the best interactive sex DVDs I have watched. The reason this DVD is so damn good can be summed up in two short words - Jenna Haze. Unlike so many other interactive titles where the girls seem to be performing for the camera or spouting out profanities simply for the appeasement of the director, Jenna truly seems to be into each and every sex segment, including the sections where she is just stripping her clothes off or masturbating for the camera. In addition to being able to watch each portion of the sex from two different angles (usually a "normal" view and a close-up), the disc also offers a "Nice" or "Naughty" mode, with (naturally) "Naughty" being the best option between the two. In addition to the interactive sex, My Sex Kitten offers a decent slide show and a really nice behind the scenes look at the making of the disc that runs about 8 minutes and has plenty of interview material with Jenna. Overall, those who have bought and enjoyed interactive sex titles in the past should be more than pleased with what they are getting here; and for those of you who have never tried interactive sex before, My Sex Kitten would be a great place to start. Had it not been for the few problems mentioned above, I would have given this DVD a perfect score...but even with those minor problems, it's still one of the best interactive DVDs I have ever watched - thanks to the sexy performance of Miss Jenna Haze.
