Get It In Gere VCA has released a number of Fantasex titles to date - some being part of movies, and some being solely devoted to the Fantasex, and Get It In Gere is the latter of the two. It's similar to the Kylie Ireland and Chloe titles that have been released in the past, but there seems to be less "new" material on this one (many of the "bonus" sex scenes are from pervious Ashlyn titles, rather than newly made for this disc), although VCA makes up for the lack of that with a nifty trivia game that will test your knowledge about the adult film world. There are basically three initial options when playing the DVD. You can jump straight into the Fantasex with Ashlyn; you can go on a Virtual Date with Ashlyn (which is basically her telling you about her likes and dislikes); or you can select the "Get It In Gere" option, which takes you to a Trivia Game which unlocks segments on the DVD with each round completed. The more questions you answer right - the more you get to see, with a perfect game resulting in having all the disc's contents unlocked for your enjoyment. Of course, if you don't want to "work" for your sexual fun, the DVD also offers an option where you have access to all the scenes without having to "earn" your way. Of all the options on this disc, playing the trivia game and "working" your way through is by far the most fun. The trivia consists of five rounds: "The Virgin Round", "The Tease Round", "The Cherry Round", "The X-Round" and "The Bone Her Round". The first four rounds are multiple choice trivia questions, with the questions getting a bit harder as you proceed. Each completed round offers the option of seeing the scenes you have "won" (been granted access to) so far, or giving you the option of risking all and moving onto the next round. If you complete the first four rounds, you'll be given the option of moving on to "The Bone Her Round" which plays like an X-rated version of the $100,000 Pyramid. Ashlyn will start saying words, and you have to guess which of the three listed categories that the words fall in. For example, if Ashlyn starts saying "beads...vibrator...dildo", the best answer would be "Things you stick in your ass" as opposed to, say, "Things you find in a kitchen". Assuming you unlock everything, you'll get to see Ashlyn's segment from the "Virtual Date" portion of the DVD, watch a number of older scenes with Ashlyn from earlier movies, see a couple of striptease segments with Ashlyn shot for this DVD, and finally move on to the Fantasex, which offers all the positions and angles you'd expect in an interactive sex title. While the video is near-perfect, I did notice that some of the audio (particularly during the "Virtual Date" segment) was a bit lower than expected, causing me to crank up the volume a little more than I usually would. In addition to all the options I've listed above, the DVD also has a bio page for Ashlyn, a slide show, instructions on how to use the disc and how to use Fantasex, multiple angles, an option to change the audio soundtrack, and trailers for Club Sin and Crime & Passion - two recent VCA movies starring Ms. Gere. If you've enjoyed Fantasex titles in the past and are a fan of Ashlyn's, then you certainly should pick this one up. If you're new to Fantasex, I would recommend picking up Kylie Ireland's or Stacy Valentine's Fantasex DVD before trying this one out - but overall, this is another well-made title from the folks at VCA.
