From: [email protected] (RonK489385) <So Extreme says the DVD is about 3 hours?Doesn't that mean we just got the shaft here?I think there is plenty of room on a 2 hour tape to show all the girls attempting the various training requirements.Oh well,I'm a loser.> I absolutely agree with Murray that the editing in Boot Camp was awful and the video is a borderline rip-off. There was a lot of good additional material for the video including 2 or 3 daps on Flick but they showed a brief double anal on her and that's it. The edits were irritating and a lot of the tape time was wasted on stupid nonessentials like a long segment on how to use an enema and another long and irritating segment on the judging. They can cut 2/3rds of the judging and that would have made the video much better. I don't want to see a bunch of guys pontificating like they are gods (they were more like jerks) rather than being fair, neutral, and honest judges. The DVD and the special version video have more playing time. It is very irritating to get the video and then find that there is another better full-length edition available. I don't mind 2 editions (one censored or non-Euro) for legitimate legal reasons because I don't want the porn companies going broke with legal bills. Having a cable and non-cable edition is also fine as the target audience is different. But I don't want companies to have 2 editions to maximize profit with both editions being hardcore and one just contains more of the same scenes; both editions are targeted at the same audience. Basically, the video attempted to humiliate the trainees (maybe that is boot camp) and to glorify the regular directors and stars. While the attempt to humiliate the trainees may be acceptable (if this really occurs in regular army boot camp), the glorification of the directors and regular stars is not warranted. Extreme has a nasty habit of overplaying the hype to the point that either they are megalomaniacs or they are just being childish. The potential was there and the idea is excellent but the actual video was very very bad in its content and editing. Ron
