Christoph Clark's EURO HARDBALL The first instalment of a series that theoretically is supposed to consist of fetish flavoured and anal-oriented feature length movies, as opposed to the vignette-based Euro Angels series, though in practice the two frequently overlap. That said, it has to be emphasised that Hardball does largely feature extremely hardcore anal sex, usually to the exclusion of vaginal sex, with performers dressed in an assortment rubber, leather and PVC. The series is also a bit of a nightmare to ID at times, with credits that often bear no resemblance to the same performer's names in episodes of Euro Angels. As is sometimes the case, this first edition is arguably the best, with an atmosphere of pervading sleaze aided by a clanking electronic soundtrack, as Christoph depicts the grim, grey views of sexual life on the seedy side of Budapest. A suitably jaded looking Philippe Soine plays a pimp who spends the whole movie pensively going around the city from one sordid scene to another, where relentless anal sex with submissive girls is standard fare. To avoid repetition, it goes without saying that every scene features gaping, so you may be advised to avoid it if this sort of thing bothers you, though I'd suggest that the mood and strength of action is worth persevering with. --Nikki Anderson, Annie (?) Eva, Philippe, David-- Philippe is seen lording it over a few of his girls: the divine Nikki Anderson, the gorgeous blonde with the superb body, stunning legs looking awesome in suspender tights; Annie, a curvaceous brunette in some fetish gear; and fragile little Eva Roberts, a pretty brunette slave (whose sole purpose in this scene is to hold Philippe's cigar).
