From: "C Rieekan" <[email protected]> TITLE: Captured Beauty - Fetish Fantasies STUDIO: Studio A Entertainment
OVERALL SCORE: 1 / 5
DIRECTOR: Andrew Blake (1995) Let me preface this review by saying that it is not a sex movie in the normal sense, and this will not be a normal scene-by-scene review. Captured Beauty would probably be found in the lesbian section of wherever it may be sold, but it basically has no lesbian sexual content whatsoever. The women are all exquisitely beautiful, the production values are strong and it would be reasonable to expect a great movie. However, this is an ultra-light fetish movie really only suitable for art students. I can't imagine a big market for this, and again, there's no M/F sex, no F/F sex nor heavy B&D - just arty modelling, soft as an unrestricted magazine. It has its rare moments and the models are impossibly hot - sheer force of looks alone drags Captured Beauty kicking and screaming to 1 star - but they just don't touch each other sexually. There is a shaving scene and some sparse touching of breasts but that's it. I've read that Blake is the female specialist (and the models' appearance certainly demonstrate this) but he doesn't even focus on an engorged clitoris - remote proof that someone was awake! The total lack of girl/girl action is especially criminal given this cast and their looks. All that aside, Blake's filming is a fast-moving roving montage style, with a lot of quick cutting and jumping, which I absolutely hate. I should have learnt my lesson, but I did buy another Blake video (Pin-Ups 2), which suffered from even worse filming/editing. There are also trailers for Blake 's Private Property and Sex & Money (which actually has sex and might actually be worth money). Avoid this one at all costs. It might be interesting if you were high, but then again, so might your bedroom ceiling. Captured Beauty has to be the easiest money Blake and the models ever made.
