From: [email protected] (Thom Burr) Recently, the great majority of Metro DVDs were drastically discounted, many to fire sale levels. That didn't make them any better quality-wise, but it did improve the cost-to-benefit ratio for those like myself, who frequently have to stay within a somewhat tight budget. A video with only a couple decent scenes sill might be worth buying if it only sets one back $7 or so, and might be only game in town if that's all the budget will allow. On the other hand, a video with virtually no good scenes, much like Blowjob Fantasies #4 (hereafter BJF #4), is never going to be worth buying, and probably not even worth watching, however low the price goes. BJF #4 should be a good deal--16 scenes, all facials, all nicely shot. What kills BJF #4 is the overwhelming amount of standard porn fodder posing as talent. Christgen Wolf is a prime example. A cheap blonde with black roots, fake tits, numerous tattoos, over-tanned skin, and a weird face peircing for good measure, The girl is a mess, and her scene is quite bad. Another depressing example: Livia looks under-fed, unhealthy, and generally in a bad way in her scarcely better scene. Salena del Rey and Jessica Jewel, both brunettes with big fake tits, have barely passable scenes. Sana Fey and Elle Devine represent the fake-tit blonde contigent (okay, Sana Fey is a little reddish) with boring, barely passable scenes. Goldie McHorn and Cassandra Nice are both marginally (read as: not) attractive older bottle-blondes with barely passable scenes (Cassandra does a black guy in hers, the only WW/BM scene)..Brunette Kristina St. James, looking older and slightly haggard, does better than all those mentioned above, but is still only slightly better than passable in her scene. Hevyn is a smaller, rather average-looking brown-haired girl who has another slightly better than passable scene, and Shay Sweet fits right in with her too-tanned, peroxide-blonde trailer trash look in yet another just passable scene. Deja Blew tried harder than most on the vid, but she's not very attractive, and her scene dragged: barely passable. Finally, Mary Jane, an average-looking black girl did another black guy in another merely passable scene. It's hard to work up any enhusiasm at all for any of the scenes in the painfully dull video, but three did rise to call and qualified as merely okay. Black girl Trixxi Starr looked quite okay doing a white guy in her scene, with a nice facial climax. Claudia Chase always looks okay, and put in a little more effort than usual in her scene. Finally, Caroline Pierce, who's the only real looker on the disc, starred in a somewhat dull pool-side scene--only her fantastic looks here rate it as okay. There were no DVD extras, besides a pointlessly short slide show and a the standard set of 30 trailers on the B side, and these hardly count for anything. Picture and sound were, however, up to the usual high Metro standards, for what that's worth. Only one or two of the scenes on this disc were really all that bad, but the sheer weight of below-average porn fodder in uninteresting scenes ended up dragging this disc way, way down. Maybe I would have liked it better if I had more tolerance for older women, or bad tit jobs, or dyed hair...But maybe not. When I bought this at $25, it was definitely a rip, and I stopped buying anything more from Metro for several months, until their prices fell to their recent reocrd lows. Still, a price of $7 or $8 doesn't make this disc any more attractive...It merely changes BJF #4 from being a waste of money into a waste of time. Review XI
