How much is too much? The threads I selected (and I was pretty picky) would have taken up around 40 MB of server space... and I feel guilty taking up that much space.
So, I had to come up with a compromise, and I think this is fair.
The archives are HUGE text files in MBX format. I use NewsXpress 2.01 for Win95/NT to manage them; but you could use whatever you like for your platform.
Doing it this way is a lot nicer on the server, since the two archives zipped take up about 3.5 MB between the two of them.
I picked the threads that were either pretty long or what I recalled as interesting. Did I miss some? Probably, but there's around 10 MB of stuff in there...
