Babewatch 1-4 (1994-95) Sin City Video    Director: Buck Adams

This is a very popular series that seems to rent well off the shelf. It 
imitates the same light formula that has garnered the mainstream TV 
series Baywatch so much success. Except it adds the hardcore. The series 
is generally good looking with decent production values and attractive 
casts. This is porn fluff and does not feature anals or the nastier sex 
elements found in other series. It focuses primarily on couplings and 
g/g sex. These first four volumes were released by Sin City. The series 
has recently moved over to the Notorious label. These four volumes run 
the gamut from very good to very poor. If you like pretty women and the 
whole concept, give the one's I recommend a try and stay clear of the 
bombs.

The first and the best, this is quite well presented. If you like Wild 
this is one of her best. Plenty of soft-core shots of her undressing and 
on the beach. Her finale scene with Buck is quite good although Buck 
almost ruins it with his over macho persona. It has a facial. The best 
scene is the poolside threeway with Ireland and Trump looking very good 
in this attractively shot tryst. The Asia scene is a downer as she 
doesn't look into it and the sound is very poor. The opening scene with 
Holly Body is very energetic and nasty, the best I have scene Holly in. 
The lesbian scene is also a major winner shot on the beach with the 
always interesting O'Connell getting into it with the vastly underrated 
Brooke Waters. A good show all around with plenty of pretty photography 
and sufficent heat for most raincoaters.

After a long introduction of reviewing part one we finally get to part 
two which looks as if it was thrown together. They have a lack of 
creativity here and we get a lot of similar pairings as part one with 
only half the heat. The two most attractive cast members,Carrera and 
Wild, only do a g/g and while it is quite attractive and a good scene we 
are forced to sit through two filler and borderline horrible scenes 
featuring some ragged blond named Justine. Where is Brooke Waters or 
even Holly Body? Couldn't convince them to stay around for part 2, I 
guess. Justine looks like a street hooker and refuses to take off her 
top in both scenes. The threeway is indoors this time and while it is 
still reasonably good, we saw it done much better in part 1. The 
standout scene is Brittany O'Connell delivering a first rate hump to 
Tedeschi which is almost ruined by the intercutting of it with the 
threeway. Stay clear of this one.

Things look up with a new attractive cast and well shot sex. The opening 
hump with St. James has energy,but no execution, and falls flat. Then we 
are treated to a hot romp with diminutive and sexy Star that hits the 
right tone. The g/g is very pretty and Amber shows she is a true sex 
star. April is a delicious little blond with big pouty lips. The desk 
top scene with Holly is nasty but not that attractive with those ugly 
fake tits always prominent. The final romantic fling with Carrington is 
very well photographed and if your a fan of big titted blondes, this is 
for you. Quite good and consistent, I recommend this if you like the 
cast.

An absolute ripoff! This video made me stop renting Sin City product off 
the shelf. In the first scene we get Carrington,Marilyn Star, Buck and 
Metro in a hot tub doing foreplay. Buck and Star inexplicably leave and 
we get a poorly captured pairing with Carrington and Metro. No sex for 
Star in this one even though she is in the credits. The second scene is 
one of the worst I have ever scene. Holly Body isn't a fave anyway but 
Shawn Ricks has terrible wood problems throughout and we end up with 
most of the scene comprising of the two in the mish. position with Ricks 
having balsa wood and Holly looking like she is praying for him to 
finish. Horribly uncomfortable to watch. The third scene is actually 
pretty good. Much better than Jordan's scene in part three. We get some 
well shot positions on a couch and the energy and chemistry between the 
two is very good. Then a retread of the g/g scene we already scene in 
part 3. Still kind of pretty, but come on. The finale is the worst yet. 
We get the horrendous Buck Adams macho persona in full gear, and the 
scene takes a long time to build only to end abruptly sans cumshot. A 
complete waste of April who looks really good in an aqua colored teddy. 
A waste of J.R. Carrington and a dissapointment overall. Run away from 
this, they obviously threw some shit into a box and figured they could 
sell it to fans of this series.
