Elegant Angel: 1997

 Before the scene by scene breakdown, allow me to say some good things
about this film ....
 As the reference to Charlie's Angels in the title might suggest this
is in the action-adventure mode. The opening credits have nice
production and the women in the movie are very attractive. There is
also a website dedicated to the site, which you must answer questions
about the movie to gain access to. Very, very nice touch and that
extra step I'd like to see more movies take. Sadly, as you will notice
by the scene by scene breakdown, I didn't like the movie too much.

Scene 1 -

 Ashley Shye and Max have sex after Max buys her from her pimp named
Babyman. Pretty standard scene with a great blowjob to start with from
Ashley. However while the blowjob is going on, the first weakness of
the film begins to show. The camera angle is great to start with. It's
up close, reasonably well-lit and in focus. Then we cut away to a long
view. Then to a shot of a lava lamp with them in the background for a
while.. Who the hell wants to see that?
 They get a decent angle for when Max goes inside her but keep cutting
away from the best and clearest angle to go to other shots. Then we
have a facial which cuts almost immediately into a shot where he is
finished cumming. Really bad editing on this scene. I don't mind
variety at all but I like to be able to see what's happening in the
new shot.

Scene 2 -

 Scene starts with an almost gonzo-like shot of a blowjob being done
by Tamara on Nasty. Great stuff, so of course they cut away. They have
sex and he does a nice facial to finish the sex part of the scene. The
facial was nearly ruined by a fade cut which joined the cum in
progress. This is another of my "pet peeves" about some films, these
cuts just a split second before or even during a cum shot.
Anticipation, even if only for 20 seconds, is always good.

 After the sex is finished with, one of the Angels shows up and they
do a horrible edit where one second his dick is hanging out with cum
dripping off and the next second she grabs his crotch with his pants
on and dick inside. OK, this isn't the end of the world but they seem
to want to push this movie as a big deal with the website so these
things need to be taken care of. If you want to do a plot movie, then
do it right or don't bother at all. As for the plot it's the Angels
searching for Buttwoman who we later discovered was kidnapped by some
evil lesbians. Not a bad plot and some of it is done well.

Scene 3 -

 Julie, Randi and Marc in this one. We see a very nice, heavy on the
spit, blowjob once again. Then the girls have some fun with a dildo
and we get a good tight shot of the dildo going in the ass. Guess what
happens next? A cut away of course. Can't show a nice, up-close hot
looking pentration shot for long yet they find time to show us endless
shots of the faces of all the guys in the respective scenes. We know
the guy is having an orgasm, the last thing we need to see is his
face.
 The cum shot on this is a big one but the guy has bad aim and misses
most of her ass so the cum falls behind her, onto the sofa and out of
view. Would have been a great one if his direction was better. Shame.
You may be thinking it's a small thing but with only four cumshots in
the whole video you might as well get them right. Why bother having
him cum if you don't use it?

Scene 4 -

 Nikki and John in this one. It's a scene about a porno movie being
made and starts off with one of the Angels trying to get information
about the whereabouts of Butwoman from the director. She leaves and
they start to shoot the porno movie which we get to see.
 It starts off with a very nice, up-close blowjob shot and this time
we get to see a bit more of it. Nikki is hot looking and it's a good
scene. Still too many wide shots for my liking though. I believe it
was this scene however where you get a very puzzling long shot of the
two fucking, in which a large pot of flowers is totally blocking their
crotch areas. The shot stayed on for a while too. I have no idea what
the fuck this was trying to prove.
 Then we cut away from sex to see the "director" of the film yelling
for him to cum for far too long until he does. He misses most of her
breast but cums nonetheless. Since this was a scene of a porno movie
being shot I would have thought this was a parody of when porno movies
obscure the sex to try to be "artsy". Since the rest of the film was
the same, it wasn't. The "director" said the scene was brilliant when
they were done, which it wasn't. Would have been a great parody
though.

Scene 5 -

 Lesbian scene with Stephania, Chloe and The Angels. The worst shot
scene of the entire film which is sad because they do some great
stuff. They do a triple penetration on Chloe but the camera is so
badly positioned you can't even tell if the bottom two dildos are even
inside her. Real shame. Could have been a fun scene.

 Overall, I wouldn't suggest bothering with this. Perhaps a rental if
you like any of the girls. As for the plot, which I have largely
ignored in this review, the movie ends with a "cliffhanger" (maybe a
small pothole clinger would be a better description) and a "to be
continued". I applaud them for the website and trying to do something
here but the overall impression is this was a wasted movie. I mean if
you can get a girl to agree to do something, you better damn sure get
it on film.
